It gives students a general idea of what to expect throughout training and into their careers. Included in the classroom training is safety training. Students are notified of the importance of safety when working with heavy equipment. Without practicing proper safety, lives can be lost and companies can fail.

Northeast Heavy Construction Academy knows that the literal operation of the equipment is hard to teach or learn without actual experience so we have 'in the seat' training for students. Under the supervision of the instructors, students get to operate the machine swhile being taught the ins and outs of operation.
